Submission grappling is a growing art in the world today.  Submission grappling consists of several different grappling arts.  It draws on techniques from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo, Russian Sambo and Catch Wrestling.  This association is to help bring together submission grappling in the state of Minnesota, then the midwest and eventually the rest of the U.S.  Hopefully this will help unify submission grappling in the U.S. like the way BJJ and Judo is unified.
